Symposium: "Geological storage of gas (CO2- H2- CH4): processes and site monitoring" (in French)
Date and Place: 13-14 November 2019, Saint Emilion, France.
The aim is to take stock of progress in terms of research, engineering and development in the domain of geological gas storage. Topics will include the mechanisms and physico-chemical processes associated with storage of gas such as CO2, CH4, H2, and also the methods and developments in geophysical-geochemical monitoring and surveillance of the storage sites.
A CO2-Dissolved presentation will be given, entitled "Experimental modelling of geological storage of CO2 in dissolved form: study of hydrodynamic and geochemical impacts in the near-well domain" (Modélisation expérimentale du stockage géologique de CO2 sous forme dissoute: étude des impacts hydrodynamiques et géochimiques en proche-puits) by Randi et al., Géoressources UMR 7359, CNRS, Université de Lorraine.
