CO2-DISSOLVED_INJECTION

The main aim of the project CO2-DISSOLVED_INJECTION is to carry out CO2 injection tests in an old geothermal doublet. Running from October 2018 until March 2020, the objective is to prepare and implement, for the first time, a series of dissolved CO2 injection tests (of the order of 3-5 kt in total) in a geothermal doublet to validate the technical feasibility of the operation. A geothermal doublet at the end of its lifespan will be sought as target among the sites in the Paris basin.
